A family who had $1000 stolen from their holiday cabin couldn't believe it when they received a message from a restaurant owner offering to feed them for the rest of their trip.  Mathew Ferguson, Yasmin Blogg and their two children Logon, 10, and Archie, 18 months, were holidaying at a caravan park in Hervey Bay, Queensland, when their money was stolen. The family were sleeping when a thief broke into the cabin and stole Mr Ferguson's wallet and Ms Blogg's purse, containing a total of $1000.  Mathew Ferguson, Yasmin Blogg and their two children (pictured) were on holidays in Hervey Bay, Queensland, when their money was stolen'We woke up in the morning to the doors wide open, and after about 30 minutes we realised my wallet and my partner's purse had been stolen,' Mr Ferguson told .  He then took to social media to warn the community of the thief and ask for help to try and recover his stolen belongings. Italian and seafood restaurant owner Jay Hodmain, saw the post and sent the father a message offering to feed his family for the remainder of their holiday.  A thief broke into the family's cabin while they were sleeping and stole a wallet and purse containing $1000 in total 'We are happy, we could make a difference and turn their weekend around,' Mr Hodmain said. 'We just wanted to make sure they had a decent weekend away and with us located next to the Water Park, it offered a perfect setting for them.'Mr Ferguson said: 'We were a little down about what happened, but thanks to Jay we will be returning to have another holiday.'  Riccardos Italiano restaurant (pictured) owner Jay Hodmain offered to feed the family for the rest of their holiday
